Personalized Wedding Ceremonies

Your wedding ceremony is the culmination of all your aspirations and plans, so why shouldn’t it be exactly as you want it? Be selective in your choice of a wedding officiant. It should be someone who is interested in what you want, someone willing to listen to you either in an initial face-to-face meeting or on the phone.

While the ceremony is the focus of your wedding plans, it is one of the least expensive items in your budget. Your officiant should be one of the first vendors you contact. So why not come to the company with a professional listener who can provide that service?

Structure of typical ceremony:

  • Welcome
  • As We Stand By the Sea
  • The Commitment of Marriage
  • Poem
  • Your Choice of a Wedding Blessing or Reading
  • Wedding Vows
  • Sand Ceremony
  • Exchange of Rings
  • Pronouncement
  • Introduction of the couple

Other options include:

  • Unity candle ceremony
  • Rose ceremony
  • Parent to Children Vows
  • Exchange of Tropical Leahs
  • Butterfly Release
  • Wedding Dove Release
  • A Shower of Rose Petals
  • Blessing Stones
  • Offering to the Sea (For a Loved One)

More than half of the couples whom we have married this past year have relied on our expertise and experience entirely, and have been delighted with the results.

Thanks you so much for the beautiful wedding ceremony. It was everything we thought it would be! We have enjoyed the several times we talked with you. Barry and I were both blessed by having such a great service and reverend. Thanks! –Barry and Katie

Other couples have taken the basic elements for a wedding ceremony and modified them to fit their own needs, while some couples have written all or most of the wedding ceremony themselves. Whatever the content, you can be assured that a distinctive feature of our ceremonies is that they are personalized. It is your personal choice and our unique delivery that create the final outcome.

We have performed everything from short, non-traditional wedding ceremonies lasting ten to fifteen minutes, to formal affairs of forty to forty-five minutes in length. Some churches will allow you to have your own Florida wedding officiant to perform the ceremony. We have also officiated weddings in private homes, historic homes, hotels and country clubs, art museums, botanical gardens, city parks, yachts, riverboats, and on the beach. You can also request a male or female officiant.

Thank you for such a beautiful ceremony. We can’t thank you enough for being there for us, especially at such short notice! We will always remember you and your touching words. –Stephen and Michelle

Our diversity allow us to perform many types of wedding ceremonies. We have conducted both civil and religious wedding ceremonies, as well as civil, traditional and non-traditional weddings. At your request, we can arrange personalized wedding ceremonies that include Christian, Christian-Jewish, or non-denominational traditions, including civil and medieval weddings, romantic beach weddings, second marriages, wedding vows that include children, older couple marriages, vow renewals, and anniversaries. We provide translators for ceremonies in Spanish, German and French.

Wedding Ceremony FAQs

How can I personalize my wedding ceremony?

Your personalized wedding ceremony can include your own vows, additional readings, poems and/or scriptures that have special meaning for you. It may also include a personal story about you as a couple.

Our beautiful sand ceremony and/or the addition of dove or butterfly releases are some of the ways that we help you to create a personalized and meaningful ceremony.

How do you handle cross-denominational and cross-religious weddings?

Traditions from both religions are incorporated in the wedding ceremony to meet the needs of the bride, groom and their respective families and friends. A spiritual service that is inspirational and heartfelt can be part of the non-denominational ceremony that I officiate.

At FLORIDAWEDDINGSONLINE.COM, we consider it a privilege to design and officiate your wedding ceremony with you so that it will be the most joyous and most memorable day of your life.

Thank you for the lovely ceremony that you performed for our wedding at the Inn on Fifth. It was better than we ever could have hoped for. We appreciate everything you did to help make our day special.
